Education

 As a botanical garden, the Piedmont Physic Garden sponsors a variety of horticulture and nature based programs through our life-long learning curriculum. Some of our educational topics include garden design, plant propagation, native plants of the Southern Appalachia, plant-based nutrition, beginner beekeeping, plein air painting nature photography and floral arranging.

We are currently taking reservations for the spring and summer for groups including:

-  garden clubs

- school field trips

- church groups

- summer camps

- civic organizations etc.

 Since our inception in 2014, the Piedmont Physic Garden has hosted interns from Clemson University, USC-Union, USC-Upstate, USC-Columbia Honors College, Virginia Tech and the University of Alabama. Our interns focus on specific projects in our garden such as Plant Research, Landscape Design, Database Management, Event Planning and Educational Programming
